After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BA in Business, Kelly worked for several years in project management with First Union/Wachovia. In 2005, she went back to school to pursue her true passion and completed the Esthetics program at the Aveda Institute to become a Board Certified Esthetician.
“Growing up, I didn’t have a clue how to properly take care of my skin, and in my twenties I had several pre-cancerous lesions removed. Noticing the damage I had done by not taking proper care of my skin inspired me to help educate others on enhancing and protecting the delicate skin on our faces.”
For over a decade, Kelly has become truly an expert at what she does—acting as our dedicated Skin Health Specialist with a concentration in Laser Skin Correction. Her expertise also includes all levels of Chemical Peels, SkinPen™ Microneedling, Dermaplaning, Sciton™ Profractional, Halo™, BBL (broadband light), Dermalinfusion™, and VISIA Complexion Analysis.
“I love building long-term relationships with my clients and watching their skin transform and their confidence build. It’s a great feeling knowing that I’ve helped them make a positive and lasting change to their skin.”
Kelly has been with Charlotte Plastic Surgery since 2014. She enjoys listening to her patients and helping them create a manageable skin care program that matches their lifestyle and personal goals. Kelly’s education and background in business combined with her knowledge and passion in the field of skin care help her build lasting partnerships with her patients.
“I love watching the skin health industry grow and change, and I look forward to continuing to offer my clients quality and effective treatments and products. An empowered patient is a happy patient.”
When it comes to her own personal skin care, Kelly has a monthly Dermaplaning treatment with a light chemical peel to keep her skin soft and glowing. Once a quarter, she’ll have a MicroLaserPeel and address lines and wrinkles with Botox® and Juvederm® as needed. She uses various SkinMedica® and Alastin Skin Care products daily and believes that education and consistency is the key to long-lasting healthy skin.
Kelly and her husband Josh have two children, Luke and Julia; she loves to watch Luke play baseball and Julia enjoy dance. And among her many personal interests, Kelly enjoys cooking, playing tennis, and taking long walks with her dog Chipper Bones.

“I battled melasma and hyperpigmentation my whole life and spent probably thousands of dollars on treatments that never worked. Kelly is the first provider who gave me a care plan that not only fit my lifestyle, but actually produced real change with my skin. I’ve never been able to go makeup-free until now. I’m so thankful I found her!”
